The Oh Snap! exhibition at the Carnegie Museum of Art had guests playing and making their own art with light devices. Photographer Bill Wade made some long exposures along with some camera movements.

The boiler plant which billows steam from below its single smoke stack and supplies buildings in Oakland is known as the “Cloud Factory.” Bellefield Boiler Plant, the actual name of the facility, is located in Junction Hollow.

I like to photograph the Mellon Institute, and took an opportunity to get a snow picture. The steps make appearances in more than a few movies, including last summer’s “The Dark Knight Rises,” and the 1992 movie “Hoffa” about Teamsters Union leader Jimmy Hoffa.
